Virginia is annoying

Virginia became more petty and condescending as the series went on. Also her strange, clipped manner of speaking.

Having said that, I do give Lizzy Caplan credit, she was totally committed to her take on the character from the get-go, and never softened her. In her own way she made Virginia Johnson every bit as socially awkward and self-defeating as Sheen did with Bill Masters.
