Princess Tiana for Wassalia!

I just saw this preview and I think Tiana being in a winter episode is a bit of a stretch. The other princesses seemed to line up well with the storyline. It was never even winter in The Princess and The Frog. What about Frozen, hello?

They must have gone with what talent was available. Anna would have been more topical with the winter time period. Based on the timeline Tiana should't be anywhere near Sofia. Remember Tiana is from America in the 1920's.
All of the other Disney Princesses are Europian from the 16 thru 1700's. If the show continues for awhile I'm sure they'll work Anna in eventually since Frozen is so popular.

Winter's Gift is one of my favorite Sofia The First episodes mainly because Princess Tiana is in it and when I first saw the preview and I saw Princess Tiana appear I got excited because she is my favorite princess and I couldn't wait to see the episode to see what Tiana was gonna do for Sofia. And once Winter's Gift aired I loved it and Tiana's song A Gift From The Heart is such a joyful song. Who would've guessed that Tiana saved Clover and helped Sofia find a gift for Winter and a plan to stop the mountain witch voiced by Phylicia Rashad of The Cosby Show. The only problem I had with the episode is why did they call Christmas Wassalia? Because it shocks me that Disney does not use the Christmas holiday in Sofia The First and they should've called the holiday Christmas rather than Wassalia
