New Genie On The Block

Does it seem to anyone else that when they try to give Sofia a flaw or a lesson she must learn at the end they have to go so extreme with it and it just comes out flat out of character for her?

I think this episode was actually supposed to be the first episode of this season but for Sofia having her face on all children's things now and parents being ok with their children watching her...

She just committed a felony. This probably should have been a James episode cause it seems like something in his character to do. But of course in the end it "turning" into the right thing to do doesn't feel like there was something to learn from the episode.
Fun episode none the less but still think it was out of character for Sofia.
