Got hooked on this show while caring for my niece

Are other childless adults watching this? I got hooked while taking care of my niece and now I've watched nearly every episode. It's so relaxing - the colors, the scenery. Spending time in Enchancia with Sofia, her family and friends is such a nice escape from real life.

I don't have any kids either and I love the show including the theme song. I so agree with you that it is a nice escape from reality.

Yeah I'm very embarrassed about it. I'm adult, straight man, no children (hope to be a daddy someday hopefully) but I adore this show. I was just flipping around with Netflix one time and while Sofia stuff has been in my face for years, sometime last year I just started watching it on netflix thinking that I'd just watch an episode and I'd have a little useless knowledge about the show.... before I knew it I saw the whole season.... watched the first home movie, bought the 2nd season on amazon video.... and crossed the line of buying a Jim Shore figure. http://shop.jimshore.com/the-new-girl-in-crown-princess-sophia-the-first-figurine.html

I'm not treating it like it's the greatest show ever or anything but the show just had such a nice charm to it that has surprised me. I love the characters and Sofia just gives me a smile and Amber often gets a laugh out of me.
But I will NEVER admit it outside of online.

I'm a woman in her late 30s, unmarried, no children, and I absolutely adore the show, too. My favorite is probably Amber, but I like Sofia, James, Baileywick, and the other characters, as well.

I grew up watching the Disney Afternoon cartoons and love all the Disney animated films. I love the music in this show! I actually bought some of the music tracks on Amazon Music (like "Princess Things," the theme song, "Perfect Slumber Party," etc.).

I usually watch with the kids but will tune in when I'm up late alone. Good writing is good writing and the best kids shows (like Sophia the First) resonate with everyone!

I'm 25 years old and I still live with my parents and as someone who is a huge fan of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, I really like Sofia the First. I've only caught a few episodes, but I really like it.

yeah already said I'm adult straight man myself. I'm ashamed to admit I purchased all the episodes and the movies on amazon's prime tv.
I refuse to buy the DVD because they aren't in order probably the most annoying thing about Disney in my opinion is they never put out actual proper season/volume sets unless it's one of their pop stars they are trying to promote....

But I'd buy it day one if they started putting out Blu-ray complete season sets.
