No, it's been renewed for a fourth season. I knew they wouldn't end it with the spin off coming up and all.

Have you ever known Disney to kill a cash cow? And frankly, why would they? It's the best of both worlds. It's a good show that gets to stay on because it is making its owner lots of money. Bully for it, and them, I say.
shareHannah Montana was a cash cow for Disney but it ended after a five year run. All the same, I think Sofia the First might not be ending anytime soon given that it is giving Disney a fat bank account. They have The Lion Guard to appeal to boys and Sofia the First for girls and that is only a fraction. Mickey Mouse Club House is over but the spin off series is coming.

It is ending, but it's because it's already almost on it's fourth season. No Disney show has more than four seasons, no matter how popular it is.
So yeah, season 3 is slowly ending and after that there will only be one more season. But still, it's more than 30 episodes coming up yet.
And who knows, maybe Disney will break it's tradition for Sofia and they will request season 5.
