The neglected to mention the unsealed bulkheads...

The ship went down because of bulkheads that were open at the top. Had they been sealed, it's possible that the ship, though critically injured, would not have sunk. I still cannot fathom why they would build a ship with bulkheads that could be overflowed by water. It makes zero sense.

I suppose, though, they negated to discuss this because this doc was more about WHY it happened, as in the chain of events that led to them hitting the iceberg more than anything else.
