Best South Park game yet...

But that does not make it a good game in of itself.

Yes it does look and feel like the show, which is not hard when you consider how crappy South Park is made to look and feel. It's presentation is great, etc.

But as a game and more specifically an RPG, it's just so lacking and limiting.
Such a short game with only about 8-10 hours of game play even with side quests. Plus a level 15 cap...in a RPG that is just plain insulting.
This should not have been a full priced game, it's more of a budget title.
Now I understand a lot of content was cut to get the game released due to development problems...so you are not actually getting the game as intended but still being charged full price for it.
It's like going to watch a film, but then finding out they have cut 40% of it, but you still have to pay full price to watch it.

I know DLC is coming...or should that be content that was previously cut that was supposed to be included originally that you'll have to pay for?
This should have been released as episodes at a lower cost. With this game being the first episode and the up and coming "DLC" as other episodes.

Definitely not worth the money for this RPG as it is.

Overall, presentation aside. It's just a very dull and basic RPG that has clearly been released unfinished.
There are better RPGs out there at a lower cost than this game.

And so, God came forth and proclaimed widescreen is the best.

It actually is a VERY good game, if not great.

I'm lovin' every moment of it, and I've been playing since Day-1 but yet to finish. I got stuck in a few places, but hey... that just brings my playing time to well over 20hrs.

Don't know why you (or anyone) would think this should be a "budget" title. They've been working on this for ages & it shows... the game looks EXACTLY like the cartoon, completely interactive, and is probably the first RPG I've actually ever enjoyed since Phantasy Star II. The humor is spot-on, and the cut-scenes go through seamlessly.

...not to mention it's downright hilarious. Probably hands down the funniest game I've ever played, and there's some good humor to be found in You Don't Know Jack & other silly games.

It was worth every penny, and each corner reveals a new area. The side-quests, the hidden secrets, the paybacks to most of the classic episodes. It's one of the best games out there this year so far.

In other words: I, along with the vast majority of people, think the complete opposite of your opinion... as it's scoring an average of 85 on Metacritic by both users and critics alike, with EVERY critic giving it a positive review, not even a neutral (75 or higher out of 100).

Which is the case of 95% of the movies that come out, because directors very rarely have the final cut privilege.
