I watched this movie at a screening last night but can't remember seeing Bernard hill in it. Could anyone tell me when he was in it?

Bernard Hill was the narrator of the book/diary towards the end.

you were spot on - this film is not good at all

it's a Doctor Who version of The Thing - celluloid sacrilege!
