The story just didn't seem as strong as it could of been.

The Preachers story didn't seem to serve much purpose... and the machine gun was such a tease...

Overall I think this movie was fun to watch but kinda dragged at the end. Interesting movie and definitely pretty visceral for a movie with kids in it.

PK being a dick at the end was also kind of disappointing... But maybe that was the morale of the story to begin with.

Jess's ending was disappointing too. It was weird, Joker was pretty unlikeable Quinn seemed like a more interesting character compared to Joker.

I still liked this movie despite it's flaws. But I just thought the story could be stronger and more interesting.

I chalk it up to the movie being a low budget indie. If the film had a bigger budget they probably could have done more. But I agree with everything you said, although I found Frost to be the more interesting of Skinner/Quinn's group.
