I wonder how many people even know who Chet Baker was. It'll be interesting to see.
Bird (1988) which was about Charlie Parker, arguably a more iconic jazz figure, only did just over $2 million.
I wish this film all the best. Chet Baker was an awesome talent and his story should definitely be told.

I've been a Chet Baker Fan since the 1980'. His work with Elvis Costello turned me on to him and he them covered some Elvis tunes. I remember seeing him do a cover of 'Almost Blue' before the Cannes Film Festival.

I love his sweet cool sound, very sexy. He was a sex symbol in his day. Time wasn't kind to him.

I had heard the name, but really didn't know much about him or who he was. The movie was educational for me that way.

The movie was quite moving for me, and resonated greatly.
