For those who don’t want to waste their time watching the entire movie:

Michelle suffered from hereditary psychosis and experienced extreme postpartum depression. She walked into the pond WITH baby Matthias. Pol could only save the baby.

2nd generation psycho Matthias discovers the corridors of the factory extended underground all the way to his house and contain the victims of the cover-up. Finding evidence of their remains resolves his lunacy.

The trio of juvenile delinquents find Timme before it’s too late. The townspeople never reveal any information and nothing bad happens to Julius.

Just saw the movie. It was good, not great, a little anticlimactic.

Your synopsis is very good and I agree with everything except for where you say "Finding evidence of their remains resolves his lunacy." Medically that's impossible but more than that, when Liv wakes up in the morning, it shows that the table on Matthias' side of the bed has 3 or 4 pill bottles on it. Now that they know he inherited his mother's psychosis, he's on medication to control it. If you watch just that minute, you'll see, and it's very significant that they showed the table for a minute.
