OK so I wached it and yes it was awful, but what about Dr. Nelson?

I don't understand why, all of a sudden, he becomes a Good Guy and goes into the prep room and saves Susan Wheeler and then tells the police and Bellows that she's at the Jefferson? Why did he save her and 'fess up? Did he have an epiphany or something? What am I missing?

Yes, he was having a crisis of conscience. No, you don't realize this because of poor editing and directing.

I'm not disagreeing about the editing and directing but he did let 'what's-er-name' med student go when she was strapped to the gurney. His crisis of conscience began there.

Another overblown prolonged remake. As bad as King Kong. Unbelievably dragged out. I didn't realize how much I appreciated the Genevieve Bujold version until I'd suffered this one. I wonder when they will remake THE GODFATHER? It's forty years old now - you'd think it should be on the drawing board by now. And the inane soundtrack did their bit to make it utterly insufferable. A new low in the realm of remakes.
