Watch the original 1978 version!!!

This 2012 version is not only boring but confusing at times. It was a totally unnecessary re-make.

If you want to see a tight edge-of-your-seat suspensful movie, watch COMA 1978! It stars Genevieve Bujold and a young Michael Douglas, whose tongue, as usual, is FOUL, but it is also in a short scene, and not throughout the movie. Tom Sellick even has a small role, and veteran Richard Widmark plays an important part.

And it has Ed Harris in a small role in the morgue.

Awesome film, I watched it again at the weekend and it never disappoints. Damn I miss Michael Crichton, I wish he'd directed more films.

Better yet, read the book.

Lie still. I've never done this before – and there will
be blood.

Haven't read the book, but I love the '78 film. Very well done. I never tire of watching it, and it is always nice to see stars in their younger days.

I thought of watching the new version, but something tells me I'm glad I didn't. There's something to be said for leaving the originals alone.

I live in the UK and have just watched the remake. Absolutely terrible.

I need to dig out my old home recorded video of the 1978 version. It had it's faults, but it was tighter, simpler, and far more exciting.

I've seen the original several times, and I always find something new about it to love. This version was a chore to get through, and I won't be revisiting this ever again.

Loved the original
