SPOILER possible ending thoughts about a dream....

The timing is not possible for it to have been a dream. She had not met Mark until after he rescued her from the pool and she woke up from being unconscious. She then ran into him at the hospital where she made that connection of seeing him at the pool. The dream idea would make more sense if she had met him before he saved her. How could she have dreamed specifically of him saving her and all of the other times they interacted without having met him yet? Also, how many think that Mark was bad and still in cahoots with Agnetta - the final text is a weird thing for me to figure out.

My theory is that she is like Arno. I believe Arno used to be one of the patients at Jefferson who escaped. He said he kept dreaming about endless trees and he told Wheeler "You'll end up in Jefferson too." Wheeler started to have a dream about being in an endless pit of water after the incident.

Not only that but they had never met before he saved her. We don't know how long he was waiting by her bedside but it looked like a while, strangers don't do that. She also said "Mark" as soon as she woke up. If this was after the pool incident she didn't even know his name yet so could have never called out for him.
