This really captures the times... It's not just a Beverly Hills story, even though it is set there... The celeb worship, the need to be fabulous, the social media driven social life, etc... The insecurity... The narcessistic "spirituality" of the "law of attraction" and other similar ideology...

In cities and suburbs all around the world.. People are living like this... Yes, it's vapid, yes, we see it all around us, especially if we social media... But it is good to see it in a detached way in a movie... Sofia Coppola captures it well and isn't too slavish to the pseudo documentary format and allows herself to creat some sense of mood..
