Random ending...

Maybe it's just me, but I thought that the way this movie ended was kind of random. I mean, you see the result of the court cases, see Marc heading off to jail and then it ends on Nicki doing an interview and giving out her website address...

Didn't seem "random" to me. I think the ending with Nicki looking into the camera to plug her website clearly shows the continuing fascination with the idea of celebrity. They were breaking into celebs' homes and stealing their expensive jewelry and clothes to get a taste of that celebrity lifestyle, and with publicity from the court case she sees an opportunity to get some fame herself.

The teens in this movie desperately wanted the fame and notoriety that the celebrities had. That's why they bragged about robbing them - because they wanted people to be impressed. And the end shows that Nicki got exactly what she wanted. She now has her fame and she's going to enjoy it.
