How much I missed vampires that had actual powers like shape-shifting. Remember when vampires used to be cool like in Fright Night or Dracula? Nowadays vampires are so damn bland and generic with what they're like and what they can do. I mean I'd still prefer werewolves over vampires but it'd be nice if they embraced some of the old fashioned folklore again.

But moody, sparkly vampires, who for some reason think going to high school for centuries is fun, are so much cooler!

There's not much to miss if you watch Dark Shadows or Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter. These are great movies with what you're wishing for.
