shareI don't think the original Munsters were all that true to the original Universal monsters if people want to nit pick.
I mean they resemble the monsters outwardly but otherwise they are pretty much like any other suburban family.
These new Munsters actually act much closer to the original monsters *(maybe not counting the new Herman cause he isn't really the Frankenstein monster)

Odd, coincidental title for this post considering that "Desperate Housewives" was filmed on the Universal backlot and the original Munsters house can be seen in some shots (along with the Delta house from Animal House, the Cleavers' home from "Leave It to Beaver" and the Psycho house). I have a photo of the Munster house.

I believe you may be referring to 'Delta House' the series and not the Delta House from the film 'Animal House' since that was filmed in Oregon and the home used as the Delta House was demolished.

When I took the Universal tour, they said that the house there was used for the exteriors and had a sign in front of it. Maybe it was for "Delta House".

Never heard of the Desper Monsters. If this reimagining was based on that then the Desper Monsters are awesome.
