Surprisingly great!

So I just finished watching this movie. Gotta say, after the terrible babadook, I didn't have much faith in another critically acclaimed Australian film.

The first 10-15 minutes are relatively boring but the movie quickly picks up. Ray is a dull person who gets fooled into thinking he's won a trip to Thailand. He's forced to smuggle heroin and obviously gets caught. He could have gotten away with it so I'm still a bit confused on why he didn't pick up his bag from baggage claim which ended up causing him to get caught.

Without going into too much detail, I will say that nothing truly exciting happens but it definitely keeps you entertained the whole way through. Hugo Weaving and Leigh Whannell steal the show in my opinion but the main character Ray really does a great job playing the role.

I'd DEFINITELY recommend that people see this movie because I found it to be hilarious, thrilling and captivating overall. BIG SPOILER!! I really felt bad for Ray's step-dad

He didn't pick up his bag because there was a police dog nearby and he got nervous standing there, he wanted to get away.

THE BABADOOK was annoying! That kid going Mauumm Mauumm Mauumm throughout the movie really gave me the horrors.
Haven't watched THE MULE yet.
