Is this a sequel to the laughably bad Iron Sky from last year? Nazis on the Moon, Nazis at the Center of the Earth. Are Nazis the new thing? Will it be Nazi vampires and Nazi zombies next?

shareNo, it's not a sequel; it's an Asylum knockoff, and an unfair one, since they usually knock off big budget films with oodles of marketing behind them. This movie probably cost more than Iron Sky did!

I found some enjoyment in both of them but perhaps "Iron Sky" a bit more because it's weirdness was so uncontained. It was just wall to wall weirdness the whole world in which it takes place is weird and funny too. :)
shareIron Sky while hardly a masterpiece, I do think is a lot of fun. The big thing that I think makes it better than this film is that it was more tonally consistent.
shareI kind of got the impression that "Iron Sky" was more intentionally funny where as this movie was just low budget and so bad it's funny.
I'm sure some of it was intended to be funny but the rest was just the nature of direct to video movie making. :)
What is kind of funny is that the new Iron Sky movie is about Nazis at the centre of the earth.
