Boo on the Brit

Brits are supposed to be funny, damnit. This fool making up his own lingo was just sad.

each show has to have their own Joe P lookalike

It wasn't even Cockney Rhyming Slang, which at least is a real thing. He sounded more Northern England to my Yankee ears (based on the BBCAmerica shows I've watched, over the years).

reply

I'm from the north of England and the English guy sounds like he's from Manchester, and his so called rhyming slang is completely made up.

The moment that guy showed up on screen this show jumped the shark, for whatever this show was worth the begin with.

I am a Brit and when i saw him on S W T , i thought he sound like a right idiot, he is not from London so why he was trying to sound like he's a Londoner i do not know, unless the producers thought it would sound cool or good, plus he is not making up the lingo that is real, but not that many people still use it any more, its totally out of context on the show, he wouldn't be talking like that for real if he lives in Texas, people would think there's some thing wrong with him , at a guess its down the the company producing the show who thought up that really bad idea.

They seem to be throwing different people on the show, to try to find the perfect mix of characters.
I wish Leesa and Jerry were back, instead.
I don't think the show will be on for much longer.
