Pricing

I get so annoyed when they price such crappy items really high. The one dude priced an old disgusting mink at 250.00! I wish we could see what the real profits are and not their over inflated guesses!!

As a person who regularly cleans out estates, I often get fur coats. Storage of these is often improperly done. 9 out of 10 are falling apart, mildewed, or just don't look good. The ones that do look OK rarely bring more than $50 on EBAY where the ENTIRE WORLD had a chance to buy them. Maybe once, in 1000 do you get a fur coat that is special enough to break the $200 level.

But these aren't people in the real business of buying and selling. They are all PAID ACTORS, who now seem to be going through storage lockers filled with junkers finds. I suspect lately the shows producers have been buying stuff from junkers to fill lockers with. There's always something wrong with the "good" stuff they find. A bronze will have damage, a painting will have a tear, even if they show something like that, nowadays. When Kenny buys a locker and get's antiques he quickly grabs the item over values it and moves on, not giving us a chance to see if it's damaged or cracked. Which I suspect 100% or these "finds" are nowadays.

I could fill a house with damaged and cracked Roseville vases, as an example, that I can buy from antique stores for $5-$10 each, that if they weren't damaged or cracked would be worth $100-$1000's each. I've noticed big chips and cracks in things even when they hurriedly show "finds" like that recently.
