Yet another example of overvalued items

Jenny took three Polaroid cameras to a camera store be valued. One of them, a model SX-70 was valued at $500.

People might ask for $500, but typically, a working SX-7 goes for $100 on ebay.

What something is worth and what something sells for are two different things.

Actually, what something sells for is the only way to establish its worth. What someone asks for an item is meaningless if no one is willing to pay it.

But leave it long enough and someone will be willing to pay the asking price.

Look at the odd woman from early storage wars Texas who was apparently spending nearly $1000 a time on old bits of tat with a lick of paint. Either she was stupid, gullible or didn't like to say no when the cameras where on her, whatever it was Jenny clearly was ripping her off, and knew it.

Only those with no valid argument pick holes in people's spelling and grammar.
