Paul Bunyun Restaurant

Somebody delivered to that restaurant a couple years ago and the guy cried then about how décor was required to attract customers. I guess food quality isn't there....

reply

Is that the same place they delivered the giant Paul Bunyan and his ox to?

Are they running out of people who want to use them to ship?

reply

I believe it was Jarrett that delived the statue, too. He had it on his trailer base-first, causing excessive air drag all the way.

Build a man a fire, he's warm for a day. Light a man on fire & he's warm for the rest of his life!

reply

You're right! He was late and the guy was mad at him for it. Now the guy is mad cause Jarrett brought him a beat up/broken chair.

Guess they are running out of shippers/buyers.

The giant logger statute was delivered to my city. I've eaten at the restaurant a couple times. The restaurant was formerly a Denny's and I would say it's about on par with that kind of restaurant, average quality food, maybe a little more interesting with the menu than Denny's. I'm a sucker for salad bars too.

Was that the episode where Jarred went to Stockton, California to deliver the Paul Bunyun? I used to live in Modesto, California from February 1983 to October 1998 and have been to Stockton a few times. Heard there is a lot of gang activity in Stockton.

reply

Yes, Stockton, and yes to gangs. Though I've lived here on and off through my life and I've almost never seen someone, or some people that I could readily imagine were in a gang. It's not like in the movies. They look like normal people, or rather, virtually everyone in Stockton looks like they could be in a gang.
