Playing with the 'Dumb Blonde' Stereotype.

At the start of San Andreas, we see a young, blonde woman driving along a mountain road.

We see oncoming traffic to her left, and a sheer drop to her right as she takes her eyes off the road to fish around for a drink.

Nothing happens.

We, again, see oncoming traffic to her left, and a sheer drop to her right as she takes her eyes off the road to look at her phone.

Again, nothing happens.

She doesn't crash because of her, admittedly stupid, actions but because of outside forces.

I thought this was quite clever in an otherwise rather dumb film.
