You don't actually see her die do you

She's dead. Five seconds after she went through the door, there was a loud crash and when the door was opened that whole area of the building was gone.

No way she could have escaped anywhere in time.

Unless...judging from the b*tchy way she was acting, she could have been an evil witch. If so, after the stairwell collapsed, she could have snap-summoned her broomstick and flew away cackling, thinking her brother's new gf was gonna die.

But yes, her character would have to be lucky, lucky, lucky to survive that fall.
