and very boring for the most part.

My husband and I agree! Thankyou! Finally, someone who sees this movie as it was. Soo depressing, boring, slow...
Felt soo ripped off by the rating of this movie. It was like pulling teeth.... C'mon - yeah we might care somewhat for the characters, but not enough to watch this..!

This isn't a Movie
This is part of the second series.

The movie is just called This Is England

The series are Different from the actual film.

This is England 86
This is England 88
And This is England 90
All with 4 Episodes to each series.

They are 100x better and more interesting than the Movie.

Each to their own,
But I like the Movie
And I absolutely love the Series.

I could only understand someone finding it boring if they hadn't liked the film. I was gripped throughout, as always, and crying my eyes out. I'm puzzled as to how something can be both boring and depressing - if you care enough to become depressed by it, how can you claim boredom?

I liked '86 and '90, I thought '88 was dour, boring, stagnant.
