I was a bit surprised at his excitement over wearing a clown suit. It just seemed odd to me.
shareIt probably was a bit over enthusiastic, but it's clear he was a very.... Excitable character. Not only did he think he was in for a large cash prize, but it's just the thrill and excitement of being included in an obviously "elaborate" contest/game. He even tells how he isn't a risk take. On a side note, it actually can be fun dressed as a clown.
