I just saw this on PBS 5 minutes ago and it hurt me.

What's all the more interesting is that a PBS discussion over the validity and content of the documentary is being aired after it.

I've never see something like this from the other side of the conflict. It holds true to the idea that the power to do good is the power to do evil and that thin blue line between justice and chaos gets blurred when warring peoples brush up against each other, regardless of who's in the right.

The purpose of the settlements, the Jewish settlements, is to appropriate land without making any compensation and try to drive the Palestinian population out.

That's the conflict and has always been the conflict. It's not about religion.

What justification is there for doing this? The truth is, money at this point. If Israel actually wanted a two state solution like they've been claiming since 1948, they would have simply declared their boundary at any moment thereby making a defacto Palestinian state. Their intention to take over all the land that is the least bit useful, and place the Palestinians in a permanent group of isolated reservations if they are unable to drive them out altogether.

There's nothing "blurry" about this conflict. It's simple.
