Homophobia?

Many people do not like to talk about AIDS/HIV at all. A ton of people are still homophobic in this day and age. The documentary is amazing though and easily one of the best about AIDS and the community around it trying to stem the tide

I'll be showing it to my movie group at my apartment complex tomorrow night after THE MASTER, and I suspect nobody will stay to see it, most being senior women. Aids just isn't a popular subject. And documentaries don't go over well at mest although SEARCHING FOR SUGARMAN had an overwhelmingly positive response Sunday night while we were waiting for the Oscar broadcast.

Several did stay and watched it, but there wasn't any discussion afterwards. It was however definitely watched with interest.
