Storyline, i want you to meet James

As much as i like AVGN, please, take an advice from a professional writter before going into such a waste of time and money

reply

This movie is sub-par, there is no avoiding that fact.

But..

"take an advice from a professional writter"

.. do you see the irony in this?

To be fair, the OP is simply commenting on a message board, he isn't spending 400k (er however much it was) to make a film.

Sure. I did acknowledge that he has a point, and that he is right.

I didn't compare him to Rolfe or the AVGN movie, so your statement is irrelevant.

His 'american typo' is very ironic all by itself, no matter WHERE it is written - whether it's a forum, a board, a book, a movie, an instructional text file, or whatever.

"professional writter" .. think about that for awhile. How professional can he be if he can't EVEN write a few, basic english words correctly?

Would YOU hire such a 'professional writter'?

I always aim to be fair, and I didn't say anything about his post in comparison to an expensive movie. I simply pointed out the irony of claiming to be very good at something AND SIMULTANEOUSLY showing to be really bad at it.

Or being 'professional', and yet being so lazy and unprofessional that he doesn't check his posts for errors. Perhaps his staff usually corrects his mistakes.

Now, in a long post, it's natural to make a few typos, I have certainly done it, and I wouldn't blame anyone else for doing it. But when you make 'american typos' in very tiny posts, WHILE BOASTING to be some kind of 'professional' (especially a 'writer', which is obviously, what he meant to type), it becomes very ironic.

And that's all that I meant to say - it's ironic. He has a good point, but his post is ironic. What does that have to do with him not having made a 400 000 dollar movie? Absolutely nothing.

Please don't use this strawman-tactic against me anymore. If you have something to say to me or about me or my posts, just say it directly, instead of implying that I somehow am comparing his IMDb post to a 400 000 dollar movie, or be ready to prove that I did that.

And please don't imply that I am not fair.
