Beavis and Butthead rip off

This looks very much like Beavis and Butthead

How? The only way this is like Beavis and Butthead is because its two poorly supervised teenagers, its different in every other way.

reply

They're not the same in anyway. These two kids have a completely different look at life than BAB. It is really different.

reply

Beavis and Butthead if they grew up watching Seasame Street and Mr. Rogers instead of Morton Downey Jr. and midnight matinee flicks.

OMG... This show is NOTHING like Beavis and Butthead... And I love BaB... It's actually refreshing that Joel and Gary are truly good kids with good intentions... Their friendship is really sweet too... It's not as funny as BaB, but it's entertaining...

Its a little unique in the cartoon world for sure. These two kids really have big hearts. And are as dumb as stumps. I find myself liking it more and more each episode. People blew the show off way way too soon. I find it quit fun. We are so accustom to toilet humor from Family Guy and South Park [Love them both, dont get me wrong] I guess there isn't room for something a little different.

I agree, toddp-10. Each episode has the two rallying for some cause with nothing but good intentions, but always seem to get kicked in the nuts by life. The first time i saw the show advertised, i thought it looked stupid and painfully unfunny. But I watched it for the first time after the Feb 23rd ep of Archer, and was surprised how funny it was. I've watched the show every week since then. Russ is my fav character. Every thing he says makes me laugh. The episode with Joel's brother was pretty funny, too. I really hope this show makes it to season 2.

I came here to say basically the same thing. Although I actually think Unsupervised is funnier than B&B. At least at times and it is getting better as we get to know the characters better.

I think the reason it got bad reviews is the idiot reviewers expected a Beavis and Butthead 2.5 and got something that is nothing like B&B at all. The fact they were not little monsters seemed to disappoint critics. Shame really.

But they are good kids. Trying to be good. At a time where being good is the anomaly.

Well, the two main characters look almost identical to BaB so it's no surprise most people take one look and think cheap BaB reboot.

Yup, I noticed the similarity too. Maybe that’s part of why I like this show. Both shows are the kind that I would initially think very little of, but once I watch them for a while, they turn out to be pretty good. In the case of B&B, they are so dumb and hopeless that they become funny and amusing. In the case of Unsupervised, they are latchkey kids who thrive for better (like in the tiered-education episode) and are actually kind of sweet.

I hope for more episodes.
