Unresolved Issues

Did she live? Did the dad go ape-sh!t and kill all the redneck ghoulies? I guess we'll never know. What a terrible way to end a movie. And then there's the production value... who made this? The Lifetime movie network? We hardly get to see the creatures and the kills happen off-screen? This movie gives horror a bad name.

I rather enjoyed it. True it wasn't the pinnacle of film making, but for a low budget horror film it was the best I've seen since Absentia.

Regarding the ending, I thought it obvious they were setting it up for a part 2. If not, I agree, it was horrendous.

I totally loved Absentia!!!!!!! Glad to know someone else enjoyed it too. (Sorry, I know you wrote this long ago but I just saw Nailbiter for the first time yesterday on Chiller)

The film, until the end, was pretty good; a lot of suspense and it was actually a "nailbiter!"

Never heard the saying "less is more"? We see enough of them to know what they look like. We see those teeth and know what they can do to flesh. Shouldn't need to see the actual kill to know what the result looks like. That's what imagination is for.

And THAT is where babies come from.

Sorry, there are no idioms that will save this film. And talk about laughable... "just imagine what's happening" lol.

That's what they're forced to do when there's no budget for special effects. No, they had a good premise and didn't do anything worthwhile with it. Could have been a great movie, but instead it's easily forgotten. Case in point, I had to look at the trailer after reading your comment just to jog my own memory. Forgettable and sub-par.

Just because the sheriff said that was the way it went down, doesn't mean that was the way it went down. We never actually see what becomes of her.

We will in part 2!

That's great for part 2. Part 1 still has problems.
