Irresponsible

The world a nasty enough place without films like this glorifying violence and thuggery. Shame on everybody who made this trash.

reply

Why did you watch it then?

"Eternal is the warrior who finds beauty in his wounds"

reply

Utterly lame. Shame on you for having such a narrow opinion.

reply

Ahahahaha. It shows you didn't actually watch this. It's about FRAUD rather than violence and thuggery. Go bury your head in the sand and watch Bambi. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

reply

the film did indeed contain a fair amount of violence and thuggery so I don't know what your post is about Holy-Fire

to the OP, British films have made a name and market for themselves making violent 'hooligan' films, since Lock, Stock and 2 Barrels, just accept it

reply

Get a grip. Seriously.

reply

Now I HAVE to watch it.

reply

Well I must admit I'm stumped, Bobo: I can't decide whether you're either some ultra-conservative old busybody who hasn't actually watched this film, or the laziest sociology student ever doing some kind of desperate, last minute paper on critics of hysterics being just as hysterical themselves, or some such twaddle.

Going by your post on 'Breach' my money's on busybody. Do be a dear and try not to waste everybody's time on the message boards in future, okay? There's a good lass.

reply

I enjoyed it. Billed as the first film to portray credit card fraud- which it is as far as I'm aware! I Thought the hooligan thing was simply thrown in to give it a 'genre'; it only had to be mentioned once- if that! All in all though I think its a more than acceptable addition to the...! genre!!

reply

Love, Honor and Obey also had credit card fraud portrayed in it. one of my favourite british gangster flicks

reply

Mate, you're fat and I'll throw you in the river

reply

well that was random and hilarious.

reply

Narrow minded film snobs like fat-bobo make me sick. The truth of the matter is that they can't bring themselves to like something that's popular among working-class people, and rather than admit that simple fact they make up a load of *beep* rhetoric to justify their attitude... I wouldn't piss on any of them if they we're on fire.

reply

Shame on you it's a film, go watch the films "a serbian film" or "august undergrond collection" then you might consider this film as more "laurel & hardy".

reply

This film might be bad, but you still have no idea about UK Hooligans / Hooliganism. Its such a great, appreciated (sub)culture. So interesting. Read (or watch) Cass Pennant and his / their story. Try to get into it. No need to support, as its long over anyway, but thx guys fo fighting the system in at least some way! Oi, Oi, Oi! ;-)

reply

yea right, I love watching these movies but I always find a million ways to look down on these jokers every time. they have some admirable traits but ultimately they're just a bunch of shallow idiots.
