Inspiration

I think anyone will be able to see this documentary and walk away with a newfound appriciation of their own life. I've only seen the trailer and I was nearly in tears. I started reading up on Jason and his life, listened to his music and I am in awe of this guy, his energy, will and attitude. When the highlight of the trailer comes on at around the 2:15 mark, and the song "Primal" thundering in, I was floored. My father died of MS, an illness similar to ALS. He was a guitarplayer as well, and not being able to play is what he hated most of all. I guess I have a tender spot for Jason just from this experience.

In short; I can't wait to see this movie. It's a sure purchase for me really, if any of my money can go towards helping Jason and his family. They have apparently been through a rough time financially because of the illness, and his 2008 album largely went towards improving their conditions.
