...when he got transferred into flashback scene with the rest of the gang, near the end of the movie.

I never thought of that! I was too busy wondering why he got transferred there when the counsellors didn't the first time the flashback was started.

I know it would have been a totally different movie, but I kept wondering why no one thought of stopping the bullies from "creating" Billy the second time they were transported. They were already messing with the plot big time so it was worth a try, right?

I thought the same thing. They should have tried to intervene, even if unsuccessful.
