Tean Mitch!!!

Where is the respect? They treat him like a nobody half the time. What would the do if Mitch walk away right now? Although they are the talent, they need to realize Mitch plays a role in their success.

I came in here to say this! They treat that man like a freakin'....I don't even know. I wish he would just go off on them

reply

I agree especially after Goo Goo's lowlife boyfriend got into his face and touching and her calling him a bitch. If I were in Mitch's shoes, I would have washed my hands of after that.

reply

WE TV is having a marathon and I've just watched a couple of episodes... The way they treat Mitch is ridiculous! He has the patience of a Saint. My heart goes out to the guy.

Mitch is a butthole and he is very disrespectful. He should have been fired long ago, there is no way I would have an employee speak to me or my family the way Mitch does.

Mitch was disrespectful at times.
However many of mary mary's family came at him: goo 's boyf, teddy(tina's husb), warryn(erica's husb). You feel that disrespect was alright ?.

As far as the show is concerned, I never found Mitch "disrespectful" to this 'gospel' act. What I have seen on the show, I think Mitch went WAAAAY over the top trying to work with these artists -- and their families --- and those who come in to these artists lives for 'two minutes' through their family and think they have a say in everything placing Mitch on the chopping board.

Artists are artists. All artists have diva streaks, some just envelop themselves in diva-ism and managers have to deal with this with more than the artist will ever know about. The more in a group and the more personalities a manager has to deal with -- it's harder.

With this artist, this is all drama, and this is life. However, it's Mitch who has/had to deal with more to get their talent appreciated: venues, business, promoters, publicists, record companies, teamsters, road crew, executives from WE -- and a whole host of others I don't have room to write about. Being a manager isn't easy, it's about a thankless job as publicists and advertising executives and marketers because everyone applauds or follows the "face", but no one gives a crap about the folks behind that face to get them to the public to see/hear them in the first friggin' place.

So what if the artist doesn't think the manager isn't doing enough -- cut off the relationship pronto and find another one to handle an artist's BS. However, Mitch has seemed to pull many threads together for these artists while they let personal business and personal opinions interfere with their professional performance Mitch may have tried to uphold. Good things happen and sadly things fall through no matter how hard managers work. And to the artist, the manager is responsible for it all.

Mitch has the right to sue these artists. Good luck to him.

It's not my fault, I'll call you back.

I do not recall Teddy and Mitch going at it so I cannot comment about that. As far as GooGoo's boyfriend the Mary's set him straight. As far as Warren going at Mitch that was completely warranted, my husband can talk to any man about yelling at me that is his job.

Thats fine .... unless you yelled at that man first. Then that man who yelled at you would be warranted.

I don't know that that was the case.

Well then maybe you should watch Episode 3 again.

it's okay, it would not change my mind I believe he's a butthole that's not changing if Teddy confronted him then I'm sure it was warranted.

Your belief that Mitch is a butt hole is not what I was discussing. You have a right to feel any way you want about Mitch. Most people are team Mitch though. But everyone can choose whichever side they want.

The only thing I was talking to you about was that if you shouted at a man and he shouted back at you, that your husband would not have the right to address him since you shouted at him (or got hostile with him) first . You said "I don't think that's what happened" which is why I said watch Episode 3 again where you will see Erica fussing at him, so he fussed her back.

that's not changing if Teddy confronted him then I'm sure it was warranted.

Okay - so clearly you didn't even watch the show. You said "if" and "Teddy". Erica's husband is Warren, not Teddy. And yes he did not confront him there is no "if" and no it was not warranted in my opinion.

I was responding to someone else on this thread that commented that Teddy and Mitch had an altercation. And yes I do watch the show. Thanks for letting me know it's okay to have an opinion.

You were responding to someone else but clicked "Reply" to me so they probably don't even know you were talking to them and I thought you were talking to me because you replied to me. Maybe you should go back and reply directly to their post.

You are welcome.

Mysunni,

In response to your comment about Mitch, even if he was all that, and I do not believe that he was, they claim to be Christians and he does not. They do not represent Christianity well at all. If I were not a Christian, and I saw their behavior, I would not want to be one. They will be responsible for their behavior when they have to stand in front of the Savior in judgment.

I read somewhere that Mitch is suing them. If I were Mitch, I would sue them also. But if they were really Christians, they would remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:40, where it says "And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloak also…." Mitch is suing them for lost compensation based on his being fired. They should give him what he wants in order to keep it out of court, and to keep their "Christian" reputation from being tarnished more than it is (although I don't think that is possible because I never thought these girls were Christians, even before the show came on the air).

Do your thing, Mitch. You earned it after putting up with those two jezebels all this time.

I feel bad for Mitch. He wasn't trying to make Tina's divorce 'all about him',he was just doing what a good manager does, and that's MANAGE his talent's life and career. When Erica was telling Tina about her sit down with Mitch, she put a lot of 'extras' on it and made it seem as if Mitch was being down right disrespectful and that wasn't the case.
