Much worse films out there, plus "Julia" from Helix is one of the leads, I made it to the end which is more than I could say for about 100 other infection/zombie flicks all of which are rated higher.

Was that rhetorical? lol. The blood spatter, bullet strikes, biting, gore, etc.

Both rhetorical and serious, it rates a solid 0/5 on effects, no arguing that. After watching Divergent, Perfect Sisters and Patrick back to back today I wasn't picky and sometimes you just need to see what a 2.8/10 looks like, a morbid curiosity.

It was on the two sites that you have the misfortune of being cockblocked from. I'm sure you'll run into it today or you may already have, I fell asleep for a few hours.

I found it fast paced and entertaining with a cheesy retro 80s feel - to me it felt like a pilot film for an 80s tv series about survival on a zombie island - the action is hit and miss with some bits being well done and others abysmally executed
