I don't know why they would make another one the 1st one was good but the sequels were ok but not that great. On the other hand it says The Final Chapter so it means it is finally over!!! Yes!!!!

Well, it was said that if Final Destination 5 was succesful, two more sequels would be filmed back-to-back. It made more money than any of the other movies, so yeah I'm pretty confident we will be seeing Final Destination 6 and 7 in a few years.
As for Saw, it's such a popular franchise that it's only a matter of time before Lionsgate pops out an eighth one... although I really hope not because even though the last (latest?) one wasn't very good, the ending tied the series up quite nicely.

What I want to know is who gave these people the right to end the series? Clearly Lake Placids 2, 3 and 4 were not made by the same people as the first. It's like they stole the idea, drove it into the ground and now say it's over. Says who?
