Doubt it. I could have seen movie 5 being the "Final Chapter" with what they had, but it seems like they combined movies 4 & 5 so I doubt a movie 5. Maybe a remake of the first one.

Movies from the 80's put the title "Final Chapter" in it because that is what they planned on. Having it the final movies. Plans do change but not all movies that advertise a movie as being the last get sequels. And even if some do, it is a completely different story, so it is kind of like a reboot or whatever you kids call it these days. This is the final Lake Placid unless there is a remake,
They should do another one because these Lake Placid movies aren't that bad for direct to video. Only the 1st one was in theaters. For Lake Placid 5 they should add monster snakes to fight the monster crocs or some other monster!
