Delicious Food at Sweetie Pies

I recently went to visit St. Louis with my husband. The very first thing we did after we checked into our hotel room was go to Sweetie Pie's Upper Crust. My aunt treated us to a wonderful meal. Everything I had was delicious! The macaroni & cheese was divine!! I saw several of the cast members and I was able to take a picture with Lil' Charles!! He was so nice, as were the rest of the staff! So, if any of you all are ever in St. Louis, please make sure to stop by one of the Sweetie Pie's locations! It was definitely worth it!

Good for you. I know groups who've taken bus trips to eat there.

I couldn't eat at Sweetie PIes, though. They put sugar in everything, including vegetables which I consider a disgusting practice. And she appears to use a lot of convenience foods to take short cuts in cooking.

That macaroni recipe Miss Robbie used at the cooking school didn't look appetizing to me.

So, I'll pass on the food (and Charles. And Tim, yuck) but do love MIss Robbie. She's awesome.

Friends here in Chicago that I know went to St. Louis and couldn't wait to eat at Sweetie Pies. They stood in the long line and the opinion about the food is that it is no better than any food that the average GOOD cook could do at home.

Also, I agree about the macaroni because I saw her make it on Diners, drive ins and dives, and those ingredients she put it in did not look like it would taste good.
