Did I miss something?

I don't understand why Jenae keeps carrying on over whether or not she should move to Houston with Tim. Unless I missed something, I don't recall hearing him ask her to go. The episode where they discussed opening a new restaurant in Houston just showed him telling her about his plan to expand - it wasn't an invitation for her to join him. After all, aren't they still separated?

I think that Jenae wearing her engagement ring, at this point, is just wishful thinking on her part. That ring was only Tim's effort to shut up Jenae about the prospect of getting married. He just wanted to buy some time with her. Marriage seems like it's completely off the table now, and he seems to show no romantic interest in her at all right now.

No, you didn't miss anything. Jenae knows darn well Tim hasn't invited her. Tim is too self-centered to think about the impact his move will have on his son and the mother of his child. So, Jenae is just doing family planning for herself. Jenae is probably thinking she should move there so his son can have his father around.

Tim is saying dumb things like ... TJ isn't going to start school for a while. So what, you dummy. HE still needs his father in his formative toddler years.

I thought *I* missed something when Tim told Jenae his mind was "made up" about moving to HOuston to do the restaurant. I'm pretty sure Miss Robbie, the owner, just told him she wasn't interested. It's her restaurant and her money. Tim is such a leech and an underdeveloped little boy.

They can barely handle 3 restaurants in town yet Tim wants to open a remote, out of state location. SMH.

Very well said Synthia. Tim clearly is not into Jenae and has a very self centered approach to a lot of what he does. Meanwhile Jenae is a bit delusional. I often wonder if Tim even likes women because he honestly doesn't seem to have an interest. Even when he went out somewhere and there were a bunch of women around him, he was just sitting there lost.

Tim's focus is the restaurant and that's it. We don't know the true nature of Tim and Janae's relationship when they were together and Tim is probably just not ready to get into a relationship or even date. He seems to put all his energy and focus into his work and there's nothing wrong with that.

Now he's opening two more restaurants in LA. Miss. Robbie was concerned about the cost but her net worth is about 20 million and since it's her name on these places (as she keeps reminding Tim), I'm sure she can afford the places Tim has picked out and signed the lease on. I'm also sure that Tim has bank himself.

There would be nothing wrong with that if he was single and childless. But he has a child so his focus has to also be carving out time to spend with his child. And if he doesn't have time to date, then I found it interesting that 2 episodes ago he was asking a guest by the name of Masika (from Love and Hip Hop) to "hook him up" with one of her friends.

His management ability is quite questionable and I believe that he really needs to go and take classes because while they make money I believe they could make way more if he was a better manager.
