Their living situation in L.A.

I haven't seen all of the episodes but I did wonder how they were able to afford rent in L.A. working in lowpaying restaurant work. Charles did say when they first moved there three of them shared an apartment together. That's kinda what I thought because rent isn't cheap in L.A. and working at a restaurant is usually low pay. I have a cousin who worked as a waitress and cocktail server for years in both Colorado and Florida and she always was living with 2 or 3 other people, then she would have to return home if they quit and moved away because she couldn't afford to stay there by herself.

If I remember right, Sweetie Pies paid for a house for them to stay in. At the end of the season, they told everyone they had to find their own places to move to.

Oh, I see. Charles did say he moved out and got his own place. I know that you can get a rather shabby junior apartment in the Bay Area (Silicon Valley) for about $1,600 a month, but I wasn't sure how much it would be in North Hollywood.
