I am trying to find a movie set in either England, Ireland, or Scotland where two teenage girls are friends. It was an indie film and probably British. One of the girls has an affair with the other friend's dad. Does anyone know this movie?

She's a nice looking red head, for sure. But it's slightly above average, I'll give it a 5.8 out of 10.
Watching Ginger freak out over the possibility of nuclear war got a little annoying after a while. The film just doesn't touch a nerve. It's good acting but that's about it... the story is mediocre and it never really delivers a dramatic punchline. It's an exercise in futility, you just wait and wait for something interesting to happen and it never does.
I've seen better films with similar themes. In fact, this actually reminds me of a movie Dakota was in called American Pastoral. Dakota protests the Vietnam war in this movie. I would have to say American Pastoral is a better movie but not by much. Both films are just alright. Ohhh well, if you like Elle, you might like this movie if you have low expectations.
