Elle's authentic accent and authentic acting as English pubescent girl in Ginger amd Rosa was far superior than her older sister's english poor accent performance in Now is Good! Elle just might be a better actress than Dakota.

But dakota was real good as a kid. i just watched this not long ago & saw ur post insick while on Elysium board and wanted to comment & say hey cause i never go on that other board anymore. wow wee those women are nutso on there lol! when I saw this movie i kept thinking how good the other actress is named Alice englert I think her name is. she was in beautiful creatures. she's also REALLY PRETTY & was crushing on her the entire movie hehe.

shareI was going to make a similar comment. It's not like Dakota is over-trained, but yeah, "Now is Good" she was good, but it did seem like she was a good *actor*. I have almost always thought Elle was better, and then felt guilty for comparing them lol. Elle is truly amazing though. Her crying scene was just epic. I talk when I'm crying just the same way.

she showed in Runaways she could sing and transform into Cheri,Now is good (a british speach coach even admitted that Dakota was better than Elle in her english accent), Hounddog,secret life of bees ect..

Their acting talent is probably equal, but Elle Fanning is usually better cast. She's in a lot of films like "Neon Demon" that are very visual and take advantage of her striking looks, but don't really require any tour-de-force acting. Dakota Fanning takes on more challenging roles really, but she often doesn't pull them off. She wasn't convincing as Cherie Currie in "The Runaways" and she's always very weak in any kind of "sexy" role like "The Last of Robin Hood".
