At the end of the movie, they told us what happened to the characters who lived. Problem is, I don't know any of them except Master Fan by their names.

Who is Liubao? Huazhi? As in "16 years later, Liubao found Huazhi in Luoyang".
And Lingdang, from "Lingdang's whereabouts are still unknown."?

Xingxing from "20 year later, someone saw Xingxing at Baoji. She sent money home. But, had no wish to return home or see anyone she used to know"? And what's Baoji? A city? What's home?

Huazhi (portrayed by Xu Fan) is the wife of Xialu, the one who once tries to sell their daughter for food and later ends up being killed by the Chinese soldiers who stole and ate their donkey.

Liubao and Lingdand are probably the names of Huazhi and Xialu's son and daughter.

Xingxing (Wang Ziwen) is Master Fan's daughter, the girl who takes a pet cat with her.
