When the wee man has his 1:1 with the governor, it was almost word-for-word like Archer had regarding length of service the prison officer had in Scum, and how the officers were the REAL lifers.
Burdis was in Scum, so probably 'ripped' this scenario off. A pity, as Ray is usually original

It's also a common thing said to screws in nick for real although not quite so eloquently.
I enjoyed scum as I did this movie, some reviews are saying The Wee Man is nothing like what actually happened, but I viewed this as an entertaining film not a documentary.
