are huge in the TV and video game world - it's obvious they have a following - but they don't get feature roles in movies. At best, they are background characters. Such a shame Hollywood hires bigger names for voice roles instead of people with experience.

Agreed, there's a couple but for the most part they don't go any further. Celebrity voices work once in a while, but for the most part hearing a celebrity do a voice just ruins it. Not only do you get a lackluster performance compared to the pros we see here, there's also a lot of people like me who can only picture the celebrity's face when they hear them, and it takes you out of the movie...
