Odd Things in this.
I'm about halfway through this and there's already been some things said I don't really agree with.
One guy said something about movie acting is limiting and that your paid to do your own voice and whatnot, but what about actors that put on accents or like Health Ledger as the joker? Daniel Day Lewis re-creates his voice for every role he's in. What about British actors doing American accents?
Also the bender voice actor said he played a black guy before and that you can't do that in a movie. Robert Downy Junior played a black guy in Tropic Thunder.
Another point they brought up is that in order to be a voice actor you have to be able to do various voices. I know some voice actors that just do there own voice. The guy who does Archer, and Bob on Bob's Burgers is a prime example, that's just his own voice. This goes back to the first point about movie actors only getting paid to do they're own voice.
The documentary is cool, but it seem like they rip on movie actors a lot just to put their profession up more. Don't get me wrong a lot of the voice actors on there are very flexible in what voices they can do, it's very cool. But at the same time I don't really like it so far based on the points above.
