Swedish Forrest Gump story

Totally agree with you!! I had the exact same thought about this film. It's the story of the ups-and-downs of a really oblivious and kind of dumb but also endearing man who rubbed shoulders with the top dogs and took part in some major historic events, complete with the dramatic background to feel for the character. The only thing left is the love interest. You couldn't have expressed it better. It's a Swedish Forrest Gump!

Exactly my thought! Perhaps a slightly different kind of humor and less well integrated use of the flashbacks.

I still try to figure out why this got a 7. Perhaps it is too European... a viewer should be into the at times slow pace and the slightly violent kind of humor. Always reminds me of the "fargo" type of humor.

7/10 not bad. I only wished it had been more realistic, it had a too much "stretching" in some episodes.

Reality television spoils fiction.

If Forest Gump was an old embarrassing alcoholic and all around annoying character.
